Around the world, animals are being fitted with mini transmitters to relay their movement data via satellite, even from the most remote regions of the Earth. TALOS’s hardware in orbit receives these signals and makes them usable for research, conservation, and agriculture—regardless of terrestrial infrastructure. This provides valuable insights into migration patterns, habitats, and behavioral patterns.
By implementing the FPGA and software development for a key component of the satellite infrastructure, we were able to contribute to this innovative project.
The combination of reliable hardware in space and intelligent signal processing enables a new level of global wildlife monitoring—scalable and energy-efficient.
A powerful example of how high-tech from space addresses concrete challenges on Earth—while simultaneously supporting research and nature conservation worldwide.
