New proFRAME accessory: PoC Fault Injection Unit
The recently launched proFRAME accessory PoC Fault Injection Unit (Power over Coax) extends the testability of ECUs with connected cameras. Connected as an independent device between the ECU and camera, it can be used to change the PoC current of the ECU without affecting the connected camera. This makes it possible to realize a number of important test scenarios for targeted ECU validation.
Did you know? proFRAME has various timing modes for video playback
In addition to the acquisition of video data (video capture, video data logging), proFRAME is also used in a large number of projects for the playback of video sequences (video replay/playback). Especially in HiL applications for the validation of ADAS/AD driving functions, the correct timing of the playback of the individual video frames plays a central role. proFRAME offers the user three different modes for the playback of video sequences: synchronous, asynchronous and triggered.
Did you know? Graphical user interface for proFRAME configuration and operation
An intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) is available to the user for the configuration and operation of proFRAME.
This provides the user with a display of essential status information and configuration settings for all proFRAME systems installed in his host, clearly organized in various tabs.
Coming soon: New proFRAME camera adapters camAD3 QUAD VS775s for ASA Motion Link
The proFRAME camera adapter family is growing: two new adapters will soon be available which support the ASA Motion Link standard and can be used for video capture, video capture/TAP as well as for video replay. The adapters are compatible with the proFRAME 3.0 Base Board (all form factors).
Available soon: I2C fault injection
Solectrix is currently working on a new proFRAME feature that significantly extends the testability of cameras and ECUs. The feature is called I2C Fault Injection and, as the name suggests, offers the user the possibility to manipulate the I2C communication between an ECU and a camera by injecting faults. For this purpose, the proFRAME is operated in TAP mode as a so-called “man in the middle” between an ECU and one or more cameras.
