PCB Design Award 2018 for Thomas Blasko

Increased performance through excellent circuit board design

The trade association for design, printed circuit board and electronics manufacturing (FED) sees the profession of PCB designer as complex, demanding and often not sufficiently appreciated. With the PCB Design Award, the association wants to honor circuit board designers for outstanding performance and bring them into the public eye.

In the category „High wiring density, high transmission rates, HDI“, the renowned industry award 2018 went to Thomas Blasko, PCB designer of our partner CiBOARD electronic, who took over the layout challenge for us. The design for the processor / FPGA module of our real-time image processing system won over the six-person jury, which assessed the technical requirements, manufacturability and documentation. The challenges of the Solectrix project were above all „the high component density, the high transfer rates and the extreme power consumption (up to 100 A) of the central FPGA“, said Thomas Blasko.

We are proud to be working with such outstanding contributors externally and offer warm congratulations!
