Autonomous vehicles and planes for the city of the future
The continuing increase in private and goods transport is already bringing many metropolitan regions to the brink of a traffic collapse. Autonomous vehicles and planes can fundamentally change urban mobility in the future. However, the different communication systems of today’s on-board electronics are often not compatible and do not meet the expected future requirements for transmission capacities and intercommunication. This is to change with the DELIA research project.
Objective:
The research and testing of a modular decentralized communication and processor platform for mobile applications by building an industry-relevant demonstrator.
Our contribution:
Development of a multi-core processing platform based on a SoC FPGA module
