Privacy Policy for our YouTube channel
The following information will give you a brief overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our YouTube channel. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally.
Together with Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), we act as joint controllers within the meaning of Article 26 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the processing of your personal data on our YouTube channel. Both we and Google process your personal data when you visit our YouTube channel.
I. Data processing by Google
(1) We have no control over the type and scope of the data processed by Google, the type of processing and use or whether this data is transferred to third parties. Nor do we have any effective control options in this respect. When you use YouTube, your personal data will be collected, transferred, stored, disclosed and used by Google and transferred to, stored and used in the United States, Ireland and any other country in which Google does business, regardless of your place of residence. Google processes the data you enter voluntarily, such as name and user name, e-mail address, telephone number.
(2) Google also analyses the content you share to determine which topics you are interested in, stores and processes confidential messages that you send directly to other users and can determine your location using GPS data, information on wireless networks or your IP address in order to send you advertising or other content. Google may use analytical tools for purposes of analysing data. We have no control over Google’s use of any such tools. If tools of this type are used by Google for our account, we have neither instructed nor otherwise endorsed this. Nor is the information obtained from the analysis made available to us. We can only view certain non-personal information about the activity, such as the number of profile or link clicks on a particular post, via our account. We also have no way of preventing or switching off the use of such tools on our YouTube account.
(3) Finally, Google also receives information when you view content, for example, even if you have not created an account. Such “log data” can be the IP address, the browser type, the operating system, information about the previously accessed website and the webpages you have accessed, your location, your mobile phone provider, the end device you are using (including device ID and application ID), the search terms you have used and cookie information. YouTube buttons or widgets integrated into websites and the use of cookies enable Google to record your visits to these websites and associate them with your YouTube profile. This data can be used to offer you customised content or advertising.
(4) You have the option of restricting the processing of your data by Google in the general settings of your YouTube account under “Privacy Checkup” and under “Privacy Controls“. Depending on the operating system you use, you can also restrict Google’s access to contact and calendar data, photos, location data, etc., on mobile devices (smartphones, tablet computers) in the settings options there.

(6) Google may transfer your data to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and, if applicable, other (group) companies in other countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA) (third countries). The transfer to Google LLC is currently based on an adequacy decision in accordance with Article 45 GDPR that currently applies to US companies such as Google LLC, which are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA designed to ensure that data processing operations in the USA meet European data protection standards. Personal data processed by us
The data you enter on YouTube, in particular your user name and the comments you publish under our videos and posts, will be processed by us in that we may link to them or reply to them or write posts from us that refer to your account and your comments. The data you publish and disseminate on YouTube in this way will be included by us in the services we offer and made available to our followers.

Purpose of processing and legal basis
Your data will be processed for the purposes of public relations and advertising for our products and to respond to comments sent to us The legal basis for the foregoing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data recipient(s)
The initial recipient of your data is Google itself. Google may transfer your data to third parties for its own purposes and under its own responsibility (I.6). The recipient of publications is also the public, i.e., potentially anyone.

We ourselves do not transfer your data to third countries. This is irrespective of the transfer of data by Google described above (I.6).
